It was nice to use a brush again... though, really fucking hard at the same time. If you're going to work traditionally you really need to fall in love with the imperfections. It's so so so far from doing vector work where you control every damn pixel you put down.
I think you did a great job of illustrating what you're feeling. The text and imagery really match up, and you did a wonderful job with the paneling. It's very beautiful.
I'm with Sam, Jason, the hand drawn stuff is great (I like the computer stuff too tho!). This comic is beautiful and bittersweet... I think most of us have been there too. Really beautiful comic!
I thought it was pretty cool too. I have a lot of similar issues. I also read your graphic novel with the caricature part in it. Good work. Thanks for sharing it online.

Liberating yet frustrating!
It's a shame that self-doubt makes such beautiful and affecting subject matter. Excellent work, Jason.
this is really really good. There's some really fantastic graphic work in there. Writing is good too

Your art and writing convey a lot of emotion and carry a lot of weight.
You should make a book out of this stuff.
People say that to me sometimes, but those guys are morons.
Fantastic! The art reminds me a bit of Craig Thompson and I can definitely identify with the sentiments.
Thanks everybody for your kind words! It's nice to know that people enjoy these stupid things.
Thalia - If you're in Toronto in may you should come to TCAF so I can give you my comic.
and, uh, yeah, I'm no Craig Thompson but his work has had a pretty big influence on me.
