Boredom Pays issue two is all but finished. I’ve been putting the finishing touches on everything for it for the last couple of days and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s 7.25x5.5 inches, 20 pages with a grey coverstock cover and includes most of the comics I’ve posted here in the last few months. Also, I've reformatted issue one into this smaller size and added a couple of new pages of old comics.
I’ll be at TCAF this weekend with some copies, though, I won’t be tabling. I’ll mostly just be giving them to all of those comic people I adore. I will have copies up of both issue one and two for sale online after TCAF. I'm also down with trades because getting comics in the mail is one of the best things in life.

I get these weekly music OBSESSIONS where I can’t stop listening to the same thing over and over and over. This week I’ve been listening to Madeline Ava. She sings sweet songs about life with her ukulele and she’s undeniably adorable. I love her music so much that it makes me want to pick up a ukulele and give it a go myself.
You can find a couple of albums for free here

Congrats on issue #2. Good luck with the trades.
And thanks for the heads up on Madeline Ava. My brother made me a "tribute" mix of various musicians covering Neutral Milk Hotel's "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" and she's got two tracks on there. I'm interested to download her stuff and hear if it's similar.
Thanks!
Yeah, if you follow the link you can find her covering the whole album there. I especially like her cover of two headed boy.
Oh yeah, I see that now. I'll definitely have to grab that one and her newer album. Thanks!
love the cover! i definitely need one of those! can't wait until it's available online
Hey Jason! You're Lisa's friend aren't you?! I remember her talking to me about your cute little cook book. Your drawings are so nice. You're very talented :) Take care!
Thanks Jill! I am indeed Lisa's friend! and you're much too kind!
Did she not have her music in a movie?
It was either her or someone in a very similar style. As soon as you said adorable ukelele i was like "Hey that sounds familiar"
you're probably thinking about Kimya Dawson. also adorable and awesome :)
I've been listening to Madeline's albums a lot since you recommended them. Thanks a lot for the tip.
No worries, Matt, it's great stuff!
