I'm exactly the same way! Whenever I sell comics, I end up using the money to buy more comics.

I think the majority of my sales are from fellow comicers. A few cons I've been at recently, my ONLY sales have been from exhibitors.
Yeah, I definately get that with my comics. It seems like the only people who care about comics are the people making them. Silly.
I find having some prints that are in no way related to my comics helps bring in more people and at least help me cover my table costs. The last show I did I actually split my table in two, one side comics, the other side prints and was able to draw both crowds. Might be worth a try!
This comic is endlessly inspiring.
