I certainly hope any pretense of quality in these drawings is gone. I drew this standing in a crowded subway leaning against a pole constantly being jostled by other commuters. There were a lot of "oops" moments.

You may be anxious about quality... but I think this looks great. Spontaneous, honest... it's wonderful!
It's surprising how tough it is to let that go. I always want to do really appealing drawings... but these simply aren't about that.
I'm starting to like how rough they are now, though, since I've had time to adjust
