This song bothers me because I was definitely listening to this song a lot as a teenager and not being nearly as critical of stuff like this. This stuff just kind of gets internalized, y’know? Huh, I never really got into The Descendents although "Milo Goes To College" is supposedly a punk classic. I'm kinda surprised by this because punk is usually a pretty inclusive, if rigid, scene. What a shame.

I would still give it a listen, it's a good enough album. Just, yeah, a bit of a product of its time. I don't think punk has always been quite as inclusive as we would like to think. Shame, really.
