I made this a little while ago. It might make more sense in the context with the original post, Out of love.

Wow, exactly how I feel. Even though I deny some of it, even to myself, this is my situation...

I know it's a worn-out cliche but, honestly, it's when you stop looking for someone else and become comfortable with yourself that you open yourself up to real love. Now, if only working on oneself wasn't so hard... Great strip.

Matt - Yeah, that's basically what I'm trying to do right now. Just taking the time to be comfortable being alone and finding things to make me happy without distracting myself with anyone but my own affections.

It's tough work, but I'm actually finding a lot to be appreciative of right now.

Love love <3

It's pretty strange how unnatural and terrifying the prospect of being alone can be, considering it's our natural state.

Totally me...
The older I get (I'm 53), the more afraid of growing old alone I get. paradoxically, the older I get, the more I enjoy my alone time.

Of course,, as a writer and artist myself, I find that some of my my best work comes in that state of mind following a breakup... well, the most commercial anyway.
