I’ve got some super talented friends that intimidate the hell out of me. Because, let’s face it, I’m not the best draftsman or really all that funny as much as I am maybe… honest in my comics work? I'm envious of your art community. There's nothing like that around my town.
I now what you mean. I happened on a gathering of comic artists and joined them, and felt totally out-classed and could barely talk. But they accepted me anyway, though one of them had never heard of the concept of a diary comic before.
And I think your honesty sets you apart from alot of other diary comicers.
You get used to it after a while... sort of... I mean everyone's super nice.
