Have you been following the Tom Gabel/Laura Jane Grace story, too? I'm fascinated by the whole thing... and pleasantly surprised how accepting the majority of the punk community has been towards her.
Yeah, I have! I would have expected more hate to be thrown in her direction... glad to be somewhat wrong in that regard :)
Right? I mean, there are certainly pockets here and there of nasty comments in music forums and whatnot but, overwhelmingly, there's been a lot of support for her. Especially from fellow musicians which is so nice to see that they're using their platform to educate their fans. I'm intrigued to see how Against Me! develop from here.
